New Nintendo eShop Downloads for Week of 10/29: Pikmin, PleaseWhile there were a bunch of surprising releases yesterday that surely got you all excited, there’s still plenty of new content on the Nintendo eShop this week. Some of these we talked about previously in the Nintendo Direct Mini breakdown, but beyond that, this is the week we finally get the full release Pikmin 3 and a slew of great indie games.

Something important to note: Nintendo is currently offering a 7-day free trial of Nintendo Switch Online. This is redeemable via My Nintendo for zero Platinum Points, and the offer ends November 2nd at 8:59 PT.

Unless otherwise stated, all discussed content is available as of today, October 29th.

PIKMIN 3 FINALLY COMES HOME

The wait is over. After the original Wii U release in 2013 and a number of DLC content packs released throughout the following year, the Pikmin series went dark on home consoles. The Nintendo Switch release of Pikmin 3 Deluxe includes all of the content from the Wii U release and adds a new prologue and epilogue featuring Captain Olimar and Louie, and adds cooperative play to Story Mode.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be available on October 30th. A free demo is available now.
