New Co-op FPS By Payday Creators Is Called GTFO
One of the co-creators of heist game Payday just announced his new game that will be made by newly founded 10 Chambers Collective. Ulf Andersson's new game will be called GTFO with some mystery surrounding what that may possibly stand for other than the first thing that comes to mind. The game will apparently be a 4-player hardcore co-op action horror FPS that might take place in a hell-looking environment. Both the official website and one of the developers Simon Viklund left a few statements that describe this mysterious new game in some regard:

In GTFO, you and your friends will explore hostile and terrifying environments where, in an instant, you are thrown from edge-of-your-seat suspense to frantic action. It's a large-scale experience, testing players in their ability to gear up and adapt to an endless string of unknown and ever-changing challenges.

Every expedition in GTFO is unique and the game lets you make informed decisions on what equipment and weapons to bring – but even then survival is not guaranteed. GTFO throws so many curveballs and unknown factors at you that you and your team always have to stay on your toes – and the atmosphere is suffocatingly tense.

That is all we know for this new IP for now. It does seem to stress that the game encourages team work more than anything as just below the title it states "work together or die together." Unfortunately, no platforms were mentioned as to where the game will be heading to. In the mean time, check out the brief trailer below in order to set the mood.

This reminds me of a similar PC game with zombies, where co-operation was key.

I really wish they detailed what these “curveballs” are. Because if its just a random enemy wave, that’s a bit overdone. Really miss the Resident Evil Outbreaks, which I felt really had this concept done well.

I agree. Yet I have a feeling that this game may be similar to Left for Dead. It was hard to survive in that game without team work.
