The makers behind post-launch content for Xbox One exclusive Killer Instinct, just announced a new IP by the name of Extinction. In this fast-paced action game you play the role of a Sentinel named Avil who also happens to be one of the last of his kind. He arrives just in time to face 150-foot-tall ogres and their minion armies. The game seems to draw heavy inspiration from similar game Attack on Titan. The combat will be heavily skill-based and dismembering the large enemies will be key in order to be able to perform the final strike. Check out the trailer just below:
As the video suggests, you will be taking on these titans and environment usage will play an important role as you plan your strategy. The game will feature a story campaign where saving civilians will be one of the main objectives. We will learn more about the game in the coming weeks as it appears that it will be shown behind closed doors at E3. In the mean time, it is slated to release in Q1 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
