Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon tweeting, “Part of me still can’t believe we got Arnold” earlier this week and many were excited. However, game publisher Warner Bros. Interactive confirmed to THR that Arnold Schwarzenegger would not be voicing Terminator. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a “sound-a-like” voice actor would be used instead. The specifics of the casting are not clear.

October 8th marks the arrival of Terminator/T-800 on MK11. He’ll be in his Terminator: Dark Fate phase and is a recreation of 2019 Arnold Schwarzenegger. This will be the first time that the Terminator has appeared as a guest character in a Mortal Kombat game. Along with Terminator, other DLC characters include Batman enemy Joker, Todd McFarlane’s Spawn and more. The DLC will add Mortal Kombat 3 character Sindel on November 26, the Joker on January 28, and Spawn on March 17. For Terminator fans, Terminator: Dark Fate will release on October 23.

Other than this, there will be returning Mortal Kombat combatants Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, too. Those who don’t want the full list can purchase characters individually. For those who buy the pass, they get access to them one week early.
