In the most recent Kombat Kast two characters have been confirmed to be appearing in the roster. The Kombat Kast is a livestream hosted by Netherrealm studios in which they reveal information about their upcoming release. Normally in the form of character reveals and showing off the many stages that we will be fighting on. One of the fighters that were revealed is a long time fan favourite and the other is a previous newcomer to the series from Mortal Kombat X.
Kabal returns with his signature hookblades and a new style. Noticeable changes in his appearance are seen in his hairstyle and his more 'evil' (for lack of a better word) aesthetic. One of his costumes shows him without any scarring which is one of the many skins you can apply. Some of his signature moves return such as his dash and projectiles. Kabal's moveset looks suitably brutal and painful to watch as is the trend with the more recent Mortal Kombat titles. Fans have long awaited Kabal's return to the series so this is indeed a welcome addition to the roster.
As mentioned in the title, D'Vorah also returns yet unfortunately there is not any gameplay footage of her. We do have a picture showing off her design and it looks largely the same as it did in Mortal Kombat X. Of course with Mortal Kombat 11's improved graphics we can see that there is far more detail in her, bug-like, appearance. Hopefully they reveal her gameplay soon as she has the potential to be one of the more unique characters.
