Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Won’t Have Multiplayer

Since the release of the remastered edition of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, there has been increasing talk that a remastered version of the 2009 Modern Warfare 2 is on the way. Despite nothing concrete being announced, recent reports that have surfaced are suggesting that Modern Warfare 2 will be making a comeback very soon.

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Won't Have Multiplayer
The news was first reported by the Call of Duty dedicated site CharlieIntel, and then later confirmed by Eurogamer. Both reports suggest that Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will be significantly cheaper than Modern Warfare Remastered, with both sites suggesting it will cost around $25/£20/€20.

However, the reports have suggested that the upcoming game 'will not' feature a multiplayer service, which is likely the reason for the lower price. The game will reportedly launch on April 30th, well ahead of the release of the upcoming title Black Ops 4 in October. Additionally, the report from CharlieIntel stated that Modern Warfare 2 remastered will not be developed Raven Software, who were responsible for the remastered edition of Call of Duty 4.
