Capcom has revealed a new monster for the ambitious Iceborne expansion to Monster Hunter World. First shown off at San Diego Comic Con, this new trailer reveals the Acidic Glavenus. Here’s what Capcom has to say about this ferocious fiend.
Boasting more precise control of its tail and corrosive sulphuric acid debuffing abilities, this subspecies will test all aspects of your hunting skills and readiness.

The Acidic Glavenus will join an increasing roster of new monsters in Iceborne. These new creatures include variations upon existing monsters, such as the lightning wyvern Fulgur Anjananth and the fanged Ebony Odogaron wyvern, among others.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches on September 6 for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release to follow sometime later this year.
