Melty Blood: Type Lumina Summer Update DetailsFrench Bread and Type-Moon have recently confirmed the details of the planned summer update for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, with a release date of August 19th. The summer update includes new characters, balance changes and gameplay additions.

The main part of the update are the two new free DLC characters, series staple Neco-Arc, and Fate/Grand Order’s deuteragonist, Mash Kyrielight. Neco-Arc will be a ‘tricky character that will require practice to master the funny joke attacks’. Mash on the other hand, will be ‘more suited to beginners’ similar to her fellow Grand Order heroine, Saber. Neco-Arc and Mash are the latest in the series of a total eight free DLC characters to be added.
