Capcom announces the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 with four games included. New modes included for both newcomers and long-time series fans.

As expected, Capcom just announced further details of their upcoming Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. This time this new collection will bring four adventures from our favorite blue bomber. These include Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10. In addition, these newly released titles will include a number of new modes for both beginners and hardcore fans. To begin with, newcomers will be able to enjoy both an "Extra Armor" mode that reduces by half all damage taken as well as the convenient new checkpoint saves that will save you the time from repeating long sections if you die. As for hardcore fans, there will be new stage remixes and other hurdles to overcome in the new "Challenge mode." Check out the announcement trailer below.

The Mega Man games are some of the most popular long running 2D side-scrolling action games of all time. They are very well known for their excellent soundtrack and often times crushing difficulty. The Megan Man Legacy Collection 2 is releasing on August 8th in the west for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will be priced at $19.99 USD in North America with both a physical and digital release.

    The extra features sound pretty cool. Too bad its not coming to Switch, game might just be too demanding, and Capcom probably has maxed out their talent with the Street Fighter 2 port.

      I agree that It is very silly that a switch version couldn’t be made. Mega Man had quite a story on the first Nintendo platforms.
