Reliable industry source via Twitter, Nibel, shared a Gematsu article saying that The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Rumoured to be a remastered collection of Bioware’s Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, the Legendary Edition was meant to have had an October 2020 release.

However, according to a rumour from “people familiar with the development” the quality graphics and gameplay of the original Mass Effect game didn’t live up to that of the rest of the series, causing the developer and publisher EA to delay the trilogy to an early 2021 release.
This official rating bodes well, though. Despite us getting no official word from EA or Bioware about the Mass Effect Legendary Edition as of yet, getting an official rating means that a full announcement from the developer and/or publisher is likely not far off, hopefully meaning Mass Effect fans will get to enjoy the remastered trilogy in early 2021 as rumoured.
Will you be getting the Mass Effect Legendary Edition pending its official reveal? For those familiar with the series, the Mass Effect trilogy is held in high regard as part storytelling in modern gaming, even being among our top 5 most emotional moments.
