After launching to positive reviews at the tail end of 2022, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is about to receive its first piece of DLC. And who else but the Merc with a Mouth himself to lead the charge? The comical, indestructible assassin Deadpool will be the first new character added to the game when The Good, the Bad, and the Undead launches on January 26th.

The game, which is available now on all major platforms, already promised a season pass featuring no less than four additional characters. These packs will also include new story missions and enemies to test your new heroes against, as well as premium cosmetics for them. Future DLCs will include heroes such as Storm, Venom and Morbius, but further details remain under wraps for the time being.

If you’re familiar with Deadpool, you’ll know exactly what to expect. Fourth wall breaks, silly animations and over-the-top gunplay are here in spades. There’ll likely be a lot of laughs to be had, but beyond that Deadpool will also have 10 unique hero abilities at his disposal. Fans of 2014’s Deadpool video game will also be happy to hear that Nolan North reprises his role as Deadpool for this DLC. Between this and the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie, it’s a great time to be a fan.
