The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is well known as one of Link’s darkest adventures in the series. Players will once again venture from the troubled streets of Clock Town to the stricken swamp of Woodfall, the Great Bay, and more. However, Link has only three days before the angry moon crashes into the world, obliterating Clock Town and everything else. This unusual mechanic is at the core of the game. It sees Link repeat the 3-day cycle as he works to stop the encroaching evil. Going back in time is the only way he can continue to progress in the adventure. Time travel was a central theme in the Nintendo 64 era Zelda games.
