Luigi’s Mansion 3 was originally announced at the beginning of a Nintendo Direct in September of last year. Even at this year’s E3 event, the title was given a tentative 2019 release date. With this most recent reveal, fans will be able to look forward to more than just candy on Halloween.
The most recent title in the Luigi’s Mansion series, the third comes a full six years after Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for the 3DS. Released as a Nintendo Gamecube launch title, the original released all the way back in 2001 to positive critical and fan reception. Spanning just three games in 18 years, Luigi’s Mansion is among Nintendo’s most elongated franchises.
