Nintendo brings in another surprise for this week for the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Twitter. Before this well-known character, Isabelle acted as the mascot/announcer for any game news/updates. Now she will be stepping off that mantle. Taking over in handling the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Twitter is Lloid. Starting next month, the Pocket Camp Twitter will be the go-to source for all updates relevant to your mobile campsite with Lloid as the announcer.
Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Lloid, and I'll be taking over from Isabelle to give you the latest Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp news.
I'm having some difficulty operating this "keyboard" with my wiggly arms, but bear with me!
I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in time! pic.twitter.com/Rqym4TToRw

For those who aren’t familiar with this character, Lloid is a gyroid that first appeared in the City Folk game. He dances quicker whenever you move closer to him and unlike a normal gyroid, he is able to talk. In the Pocket Camp game, he watches over the player’s garden and sells basic flower seeds. Speaking in a classical English manner of speech to the player is something Lloid is known for. Over time though, he has become a bit more casual in recent work.
This does not mean, however, that Isabelle will be disappearing from the entire Animal Crossing Twitter altogether. The main Twitter account seems to be going through a clearance. This is so there will be more focus on Animal Crossing: New Horizons when it releases on Switch in March.
Prior to this, Nintendo announced a new paid membership subscription. Revealed in an in-game news update, it began yesterday, on November 21st. There are two plans in the subscription. One allows players to appoint one lucky animal as their camp caretaker and get some extra help around the campsite. The other allows players to receive fortune cookies and store furniture and clothing items in warehouses. More details on the subscription have been revealed this week.
