Lizard Squad attacked Battle.net servers today

Earlier today, all Battle.net servers in Europe and North America were out of reach and no Blizzard game could be played using the service. The servers had undergone many DDOS attacks.

Lizard Squad has attacked Battle.net servers today
Earlier today, all Battle.net servers in Europe and North America were out of reach and no Blizzard game could be played using the service. The servers had undergone many DDOS attacks. The hacker group, Lizard Squad, known for the Christmas 2014 attacks on PSN and Xbox Live have claimed the responsibility. As of now, the servers are stable and all Blizzard games can be played on-line, using Battle.net. There are rumors that these attacks are connected to a shutdown of the very famous and popular World of Warcraft private server due to Blizzard actions.
