Listing For Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered Appears On Amazon UK

A listing for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered has today surfaced on Amazon UK, with the option to pre-order. According to this listing, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will launch for £34.99/$40 and will release on November 13, 2020. However, this may be a placeholder. The listing does not include any description of the game. Hot Pursuit Remastered was listed for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, but a PS4 version will almost certainly come too.   

EA has hinted at remastered versions of some of their favourite franchises, with CEO Andrew Wilson confirming in a financial earnings call in May that the company would release an “EA HD title” before March 31, 2021. A Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered was also hinted at by Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat, who listed the seven EA game’s coming to Nintendo Switch in the next year including the famous arcade racer.

The original Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit released in 2010. The title was a resounding success with the Xbox 360 version scoring a 88 on Metacritic. Hot Pursuit also sold over five million copies worldwide. It was developed by Criterion, who now back at the forefront of the  Need for Speed franchise.
