If you like wholesome adventure games, then you might be interested in this game: Koira, which is the debut title from developer Studio Tolima. It is also being published by Don’t Nod, the company behind the Life is Strange series and the more recent game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. Koira was announced back in August 2023 with a release window of 2025.
Fast forward to nearly two years, and Koira now has a new release date. Instead of being delayed, the game is actually releasing more than two weeks earlier than planned. Koira will now be coming out on April 1, 2025.
What Is Koira?
Koira is a cozy hand-drawn adventure game. Waking up alone in the middle of a snowy forest, you befriend a puppy and embark on an adventure together. As you find your way home, you must protect your new puppy friend from danger. To get home, you must get through the musical forest, solve ancient puzzles, and meet woodland creatures. Along the journey, the titular protagonist Koira will discover new powers along with the true meaning of friendship.
In summary, you can expect adventure, exploration, and puzzle solving, all in a cozy, easy-going setting with Koira.
Koira will release on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.
