Kirby and the Forgotten Land has just surpassed 5.27 million sales worldwide establishing it as the best selling Kirby game of all time. With 5.27 million games sold, this puts the game just a few thousand copies above Kirby’s Dreamland.

The 1992 release was our first game with the now-iconic pink puff ball. But back then he wasn’t pink at all–he was just a gray ball. Kirby’s Dream Land released for the Gameboy Color and the only colorful thing about it at the time was the box art. This game even predated him having any special abilities at all.
In March of 2022, Nintendo and HAL Laboratory released their newest installment in the franchise–Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The differences between the original and new game couldn’t be more stark.
The player takes Kirby on a journey through a diverse assortment of maps in order to save waddle dees and rebuild their village after its destruction.
