Kendrick Lamar Drops The Heart Part 5 With Music Video

It’s been like five years since we last got a Kendrick Lamar album, excluding The Black Panther Album. The famous rapper is known to have announced his next album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, on his social media and the oklama website. Spotify accidentally leaked that Kendrick will be dropping the fifth installment of the renowned Heart series of songs. The last single mainly aimed to promote DAMN. And so does it seem; Kendrick Lamar drops The Heart Part 5.

A while ago, Kendrick Lamar’s official Youtube Channel uploaded and published the music video of The Heart Part 5. The video is primarily Kendrick rapping to a 70s-inspired beat and seemingly a Marvin Gaye’s “I Want You” sample in front of a red wall. Kendrick Lamar’s face is gradually deep faked to famous figures like Kanye West, Kobe Bryant, Will Smith, O.J. Simpson, Jussie Smollett, and Nipsey Hussle. The promotional video is directed by Dave Free and surprisingly produced by pgLang with apparently no credits to TDE, Kendrick’s “previous” label.

The song containing samples that might be used in Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is very likely to happen; since The Heart Part 4 included samples from DAMN.‘s PRIDE. and FEAR. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is announced to be released within the next week or so, the 13th of May, to be specific. A delay is absolutely far-fetched.
