With the Mortal Kombat 11 roster filling up as we near the official release in April, there's still plenty of characters we haven't seen make the cut yet. One of those classic fighters from the original Mortal Kombat release can be checked off the list, as Johnny Cage has officially been announced with a brand-new reveal trailer.
While the trailer showcases a slew of Cage's signature moves, like his green flash kick and green energy orbs, there's also a lot of new abilities that have made their way into the cheesy Hollywood actor's repertoire. Some new moves include a humorous mime abilitiy and even beating his enemy with what appears to be an Oscar award.
The over-the-top moves don't stop there as we're also given a showing of one of his fatalities. Possibly one of the greatest finishers in the entire series, Cage's hilarious new fatality sets the bar for what we've come to know about the dashing film actor.
NetherRealm has revealed 13 of the playable fighters before its release with a total of 25 making up the final roster. Mortal Kombat 11 is set to launch on April 23, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch.
