Italian Publisher PlaySys Sets Its Sights on Next-Gen Game

Announcing a new and intriguing adventure game, PlaySys, based in Italy, is aiming for the next-gen console market.

Their upcoming game, expected to be released in the second half of 2021, it’s still unnamed, and it’s known only as “Project Dream“, but it promises to be a 3D adventure set in a colorful open world in which things may not be what the player thinks.

Project Dream will first be released on PlayStation and then on other platforms, according to the Italian publisher.

PlaySis was founded in Milan in 2007 as an independent software and game development company, and it’s aiming a little higher now, turning into an international publisher.

With news of the bigger players like Sony, EA, and more recently Microsoft acquiring major publishers, that there are some smaller publishers popping here and there or gaining terrain may very well be a good thing for the gaming industry as a whole.
