Internal Alpha For Call of Duty 2020 Listed On Xbox Store

A listing for The Red Door - a Call of Duty 2020 internal alpha has appeared on the Xbox store overnight. The Red Door also appeared on the PlayStation Store last month with developers testing the game from home. Call of Duty 2020 is yet to be officially revealed.

Internal Alpha For Call of Duty 2020 Listed On Xbox Store‘The Red Door’ –  an internal alpha for Call of Duty 2020 has been listed on the Xbox Store. This is the second platform that The Red Door internal alpha has appeared on with it surfacing on the PlayStation Store last month with a code name of COD2020 confirming that it is the title being developed by Treyarch set for release later this year. The Red Door on Xbox comes in at a hefty 81GB suggesting we will likely have a similar problem to Modern Warfare with large file sizes.

The description for The Red Door reads:

There is more than one truth. If you go looking for answers, be ready to question everything and accept that nothing will ever be the same. The Red Door awaits, do you dare step through it?

This alpha is only available to people withinside Activision with developers and QA testers having to test the game at home due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the longest we have had to wait for a Call of Duty reveal. Typically, the new COD game is usually revealed in May with multiplayer later in the summer. We are now in mid-July and none the wiser.

It has been reported that Call of Duty 2020 will be titled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and similar in vein to a reboot in what we saw with Modern Warfare last year.
