Indygo, developed by Polish studio Pigmentum Game Studio, follows the story of a painter suffering from increasing isolation as a result of his depression. He shuts himself in his room, further alienating himself from the outside world. One of the few forms of relief he has comes from his girlfriend Anna, who he fears he might lose. As you progress through the story, you must make difficult choices in order to find a solution to ease your pain.
The newly released game attempts to illustrate some of the experiences of those affected by mood disorders in an attempt to counteract stigmatization of these people. The game takes place in the room of the main character, a painter who has isolated himself from the outside world. See the world from his eyes, solving puzzles and reading letters to discover more information about his mental state and piece together the whole narrative.
The game features stunning hand drawn art and unique atmospheric music that adapt to the main character's mental state in order to accentuate the experience. There are multiple endings depending on the choices the player makes – the game can end based on seemingly trivial decisions.
