IGN Expo Day 3 Games Revealed

Summer of Gaming is nearly over! Here is a list of IGN Expo's day 3 games revealed. Because of E3's cancellation, IGN has decided to live stream multiple game announcements. We will continue to cover each day of IGN Expo, as its final day is just upon us. From 2D platformers to strategy games, you're sure to find a game that interests you.

Welcome to another day of Summer of Gaming! Here we will be taking a look at IGN Expo’s day 3 games. As E3 was canceled, IGN decided to live stream a ton of game announcements. With only one more Expo day to go, here is the list of games announced.

Guilty Gear -Strive- is one of many games affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Originally set to release late 2020, this anime-style fighting game will be coming to PS4 the following year. This will be the seventh game in the franchise, and with its delay fans will definitely receive a polished arcade game in 2021. If you’re looking forward to this game, the next character announcement will be this August!

ROCKFISH games then presented Everspace 2, an open-world RPG set in space. Soar through the sky and take part in an intergalactic combat shooter. Luckily for all Everspace fans and any interested newcomers, this game will be starting a closed alpha very soon. Everspace 2 will be releasing on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.

Become the Sherlock of exorcism in the game Lucifer Within Us. Your character can see beyond reality and peek into alternate universes to solve crimes. This non-linear mystery game has a unique art style and isometric gameplay that’s sure to keep you playing for hours. Wishlist this game on Steam because it’ll be coming sometime in 2020.

Next up is 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, a cross-genre game published by Atlus, known for developing the iconic Persona series. 13 Sentinels goes from a side-scrolling adventure to real-time strategy battles, set in 1980s Japan. Previously released in Japan in November 2019, this game will get a worldwide release on September 8th, 2020 for PS4.

Another beloved game is Phantasy Star Online 2. This free-to-play online RPG was originally released on the PlayStation Vita in Japan of 2013 and PS4 in Japan of 2016, but its first North American release is out now for Xbox One and PC.

Have you ever just wanted to escape reality and become a spaceship salvager? Well, in Hardspace Shipbreaker you can achieve this. Complete work orders to salvage equipment and carve into spaceships to gain valuable materials. Become a spaceship technical genius in this sci-fi world on June 16th, 2020. This will be available for early access on Steam, and later on for Xbox One and PS4.

Some other games you may be interested in are the following; Castle Storm 2, a tower defense strategy game coming to the Epic Games Store, and all other platforms. Ranch Sim, a realistic simulation game coming to Steam where you get to build your own farm ranch. Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, a turn-based tactical game releasing on all consoles on July 17th, 2020. Skater XL, a skating game coming to consoles on July 7th, 2020.

In continuation, Total War: TROY is a strategy battle game that will come to the Epic Games Store exclusively free for a year on August 13th, 2020. Unto The End is a 2D cinematic adventure coming to all platforms. Finally, Blue Fire is a 2D spooky platformer coming to Switch Q1 2021.
