IGN’s Summer of Gaming has hit, and it’s bigger than ever. Usually taking place at the canceled E3, IGN has instead decided to live stream a slew of games. With each passing expo day, we’ll be unveiling what has been shown in their live streams, and what we’re most excited for. Here are the games revealed at IGN Expo day 1.

First off, we have a personal favourite of mine from the day, Werewolf The Apocalypse – Earthblood. Despite its slightly longer-than-needed-be name, the Summer of Gaming stream begun with a bang. This supernatural game is based on the tabletop game, Werewolf: The Apocalypse. There wasn’t much-revealed gameplay-wise, but we can only hope this game will turn out as good as the cinematics look.

Are you a fan of crossplay? Because there’s finally a game for you. Chivalry 2 will be arriving to PC, PlayStation and Xbox (both current and next-gen). This medieval game is a first-person multiplayer slasher. It reminds me of For Honour, another medieval battle game.

In addition, Rustler (Grand Theft Horse) (yes, that’s its exact name) may not have a release date, but is an isometric RPG where you become a medieval thug. Instead of stealing cars in the 21st century, you’re…well, stealing horses from fellow peasants.

Do you love Doom: Eternal, but can’t get enough of it, even though you’ve already put dozens of hours into it? Here comes Metal Hellsinger, a rhythmic FPS where you’re trying to kill enemies to the beat of the music. Both music and Doom lovers will adore this game, releasing in 2021 to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Beyond Blue is a narrative, relaxing experience that takes you on an adventure through the deep blue sea. Lucky for you, it’s out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The game called Demon Turf is a 3D platformer with quirky visuals and adorable voice acting. Your job is to become the Demon Queen through wall jumps, swimming, and rolling. It will release on Xbox, PC, and Switch.

Following up from Wasteland 2, this next game looks like another success. Wasteland 3 is a party-based RPG with a deep story and strategic combat. Choose to either play solo or co-op in this isometric game, set in a world with mechanical monsters and dangerous environments. Pre-order now for Xbox One, PS4, or PC.

Another few additions to the event were The Waylanders coming to Steam early access on June 16th, Second Extinction, a dinosaur FPS, more gameplay for Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition, another isometric RPG rereleasing with full expansions on Xbox One and PS4.

What did you think of the debut for IGN Expo’s Day 1 games? Let us know in the comments below which game excites you most!
