A number of distinguished video game creators will be present at this year's Gamelab Conference that takes place in Barcelona, Spain at the Hesperia Tower Hotel in Barcelona and will run from June 28th to June 30th.
These speakers include developers such as Fumito Ueda (The Last Guardian), Dino Patti (Inside), Richard Garriott (Ultima), Sam Lake (Quantum Break) and Vander Caballero (Papo & Yo). The Spanish Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Honorary Award will be going to Ultima creator Richard Garriott. In the past, creators such as Hideo Kojima or Peter Molyneux had received such awards as well. For more details you can visit the Gamelab official website.
The Gamelab Conference will take place after E3 and might be a chance for some of these distinguished creators to reveal more details on what they are working on. Fumito Ueda, for example, recently shared some info on his next game in development, so chances are he could reveal something at this event too.
All in all, June is shaping to be a month to look forward to for the future of the gaming industry. Stay tuned for more details as they are revealed.
