From the team that developed Alien: Isolation, Halo Wars 2 and the Total War series, comes a new multiplayer shooter. That game is titled Hyenas developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. The game will be releasing on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as on PC.
The alpha is available to sign up for now. Currently the alpha will be limited to players in NA and EU only on PC for Steam. The game has been described as having a PvEvP style setup where multiple teams of players will compete against each other while also dealing with AI controlled enemies protecting the merch. Hyenas will be a first person shooter.
Throughout matches in Hyenas the player will be focusing on stealing epic merch including memorabilia like Sonic keychains and other merch. The goal in a match is to be the team to steal the most merch and escape. If there is a limit on how many teams can escape or if each player has a single life is something we will have to wait to hear about soon. The gameplay will feature traversal and fighting in freighters set in outer space and will include Zero-G segments.
