Horizon Zero Dawn launched earlier this year to rave reviews and critical acclaim. So, it was no surprise that at Sony's E3 press conference an expansion for the game was announced, titled 'The Frozen Wilds'. The reveal trailer offered a look at the new icy territory and an ominous volcano; however, it was short of one thing. A release date. Today that date has been revealed via a post on the PlayStation Blog.
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will launch on 7th November 2017.
Unfortunately, not much else was revealed about this expansion in the post other than a short video announcing the release date.
However, The Frozen Wilds is now available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store. And, by pre-ordering you can get an exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn avatar for PSN.
If you didn't get a chance to play this excellent experience earlier this year, Horizon Zero Dawn is currently discounted on the PlayStation Store.
