Hogwarts Legacy State of Play Highlights & Gameplay

Many new details have been teased in the new Hogwarts Legacy State of Play. Character customization, exploration, individual play styles, and much more. Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games have combined the RPG formula with the wizarding world to create a unique experience for old fans and new.

Many new details and lots of gameplay are revealed in the 20-minute preview provided by PlayStation. Although we still don’t have a set release date for the highly anticipated title, we have been given the ever vague Holiday 2022 timeframe. 

The focus of this State of Play is the importance of Individuality and freedom the player will be offered. We get a short look at the detailed player creator as well as different play styles. The player will have a variety of talents and skills to upgrade as well as many unique spells that can be acquired as you attend classes and explore the outside world.

Another exciting point stressed in the Hogwarts Legacy State of Play is the ability to explore the school and the vast grounds around it. Many new areas, as well as familiar locations, will be open to exploring. Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games have clearly thought hard about the player experience. 

This story will take place in the late 1800s, an unfamiliar time to fans of this world. Your character will be a special wizard with a unique story and abilities. With the freedom to play as you wish and the many classic RPG elements, this adventure into the wizarding world has a lot of potential. 

Keep in mind that Hogwarts Legacy has already been delayed multiple times so, even with the Holiday 2022 release window, we may not see this game until next year.
