Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice tackles themes rarely approached in gaming, and its newly released trailer glimpses at how these things will play out in the game. The newly released trailer narrates the lede character’s inner struggles. Filled with plenty of cinematics and slow motion gameplay segments, it encapsulates the hard journey Senua must endure.
Developer Ninja Theory illustrates in the trailer how Senua suffers from anxiety and depression. A loud voice can also be heard in the trailer, and this isn’t limited to promotional materials as Senua can hear different voices in her head during battles and while exploring.
Aside from the new trailer, the developers also announced PS4 Pro support. Similar to Nioh and Rise of the Tomb Raider, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice allows players to choose between enhanced graphical fidelity or a smoother framerate. “PlayStation 4 Pro players will have the choice between experiencing Hellblade with enhanced resolution or at a higher framerate at 60fps,” Ninja Theory stated in a press release.
Meanwhile, the PC version is still the best platform for those who want the optimal experience. The PC version supports 21:9 ultra widescreen and will be capable of running at 4K resolution at an uncapped framerate.
The “AAA Indie” game, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, will launch on August 8 for PC and PS4. The game will be sold digitally for USD29.99. For more on Hellblade: Sensua's Sacrifice and the latest news on gaming, make sure to check KeenGamer.
