A remake on one of the most beloved Harvest Moon titles is coming to Nintendo Switch, XSEED Games announced today.
Officially titled Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, this project is a high definition recreation of the original Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. Of course, this will include new HD visuals, revamped character designs, and remastered music. Other changes or enhancements have not been detailed at this time. Although there have been other Harvest Moon games on Switch, it will be the first mainline Story of Seasons title to release for Nintendo’s console.
XSEED has provided the following information about the remake:
Originally released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2003, STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town is a complete remake that will let series fans revisit the charming world of Mineral Town, while also introducing it to a new generation of farmers. In this peaceful setting, players will grow crops, take care of animals, and build relationships with villagers.
