Bungie Unveils Exclusive T-Shirt Design to Combat Australia Wildfires

If it’s one thing Australia needs right now, it’s a guardian. Thousands of people have lost their homes, millions of animals have died, and firefighters are putting their lives on the line to control the wildfires spreading across the east coast of Australia, but a reported 140 fires are still burning. Around the world, people have set up fundraiser campaigns to help, including Bungie with their Guardians for Australia campaign.

Every day, new pictures and videos cross our news feeds from Australia, detailing the damage and devastation left behind by the wildfires. On January 16, Bungie launched their Guardians for Australia campaign with this post on their website:

The bush fires currently ravaging Australia have been devastating. Many people have lost their homes, firefighters are risking their lives daily, and an estimated hundreds of millions of wild animals have fallen victim to the fires. We have created the Guardians for Australia fundraising campaign to support both Australia’s firefighting efforts and the country’s animal rescue and conservation efforts.

From January 16 to February 18 (ending at 9:00 a.m. PST), fans will be able to pre-order a limited edition Guardians for Australia t-shirt. The purchase of one of these t-shirts also includes a redeemable code for an exclusive Destiny 2 “Star Light, Star Bright” in-game emblem to show your support. Half of the proceeds will be donated to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service, with the other half going to WIRES, Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organisation.

If you can, please consider buying a Guardians for Australia t-shirt. The t-shirts are available now for pre-order on the Bungie Store (US) and Bungie EU Store.
