Granblue Fantasy fans should rejoice as a new game is confirmed to release this year. Releasing on multiple platforms, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is confirmed to release in November, 2023. The game is promised to introduce some new mechanics and characters.

Developed by Arc System Works, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is the latest release announced this year in the Granblue Fantasy game series. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is a 2.5D fighting game and is the sequel to Granblue Fantasy Versus.

Release Details

Granblue Fantasy fans should be more than happy as Arc System Works has confirmed Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising to release this year. The date is confirmed and is set to 30th November 2023. You can find the announced date on the game’s official website. The game is said to be a multiplatform release and is confirmed to release on the following platforms:

  • PS4
  • PS5
  • PC/Windows

The game is now available to preorder and will be available to play on 30th November 2023. This sequel is priced at $49.99, which makes its price a little lower than the standard new game releases.

New Features

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising also introduces new mechanics and characters into the game. The mechanics introduced are the all-new dash attacks and triple attacks. The game also features new lobby-based mini-games like “Rising Royale” and the “Gold Brick Hoarder.” Although the newly introduced mechanics are a great surprise but it is not where it ends, as Arc System Works has promised four new characters to be introduced in the all-new Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. All the characters from the first game return, in addition to the following new characters:

  • Anila
  • Siegfried
  • Nier 
  • Grimnir

Additionally, a free-to-play version of the game will be accessible upon release. This version will include four characters with capped levels at 80, as well as the first part of the story mode.
