The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was recently revealed to cost US$70, a first for Nintendo. Many fans may be curious if there’s any way to get the game for lower than that; and Nintendo has you covered. Shortly after the February 8th direct, Nintendo added Tears of the Kingdom to its list of games redeemable via Game Vouchers.
Game Vouchers are purchasable exclusively by Nintendo Switch online members for US$99.98; for a limited time only. With your purchase you receive two Game Vouchers, each redeemable for one eligible game. The full list can be found on the Vouchers’ eShop page.
Some of the highlights include the newly announced Pikmin 4, Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and, the big one, Tears of the Kingdom.
For the price of around US$100, you could preorder Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4 (or any other US$60 game) and end up saving US$30. Additionally, you can have up to 10 Vouchers on your account. If there are any other games you’re hoping to save on, you may want to pick up some more.
If you’re interested, act fast, Nintendo had previously made the Vouchers available in 2019 and they didn’t return until recently. There’s no telling whether or not they’ll be gone again.
