The Witcher series had, up until 2015, been a bit of an underdog series. It was good but not many people played it. But following the care and precision put into crafting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its genuinely expansive expansion packs, CD Projekt Red have shown themselves as one of gaming's greats. Based on the books, this series is also getting a Netflix TV series and now, badass, white-haired protagonist of the series, Geralt of Rivia is a playable character in Soul Calibur VI.
A trailer has been released on the PlayStation YouTube channel displaying the brooding hero and his gameplay tricks and unique abilities. These consist mainly of his Witcher abilities as well as his magnificent swordplay, as per the series staple. His design and character fit right in with series veteran characters, and his inclusion will surely benefit both parties involved. It gives CD Projekt Red the buzz it needs for people to not forget about hem and Cyberpunk 2077 as well as bring more attention to the acclaimed fighting series that a lot of people would've otherwise skipped.
