Many can’t wait to revisit their childhood

The hype is real for the Pokemon Gen 4 Remakes that many look back upon with special fondness. To help with the wait, a new trailer has come out and it showcases Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl in their full remade glory. First of all, it gives us a glimpse at some of the prominent characters we will be interacting with and they are as colorful as in any Pokemon game.

Besides that, the trailer gives an insight into the often controversial “hidden moves” or “HMs”. Luckily, this mechanic has somewhat been modernized so the players don’t have to structure their team around them. So you’ll be able to cut trees and climb rocks without your core Pokemon wasting precious move space for these techniques. These much-anticipated games will be released on November 19th this year. Can’t wait to dive into a remastered Vice City

This rumor has been getting around for quite some time. Originally from Kotaku, it suggested that Grand Theft Auto 3Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are getting remasters. And now, this has somewhat been confirmed by South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee which has officially rated something called Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

Nintendo is expanding its online subscription service

Nintendo is expanding its online subscription service

Genesis games coming to Nintendo was a huge surprise

The latest Nintendo Direct revealed the rumored Nintendo Switch Online expansion. However, the big surprise was that they’re adding not one, but two retro platforms to the service. While many were hoping for a Nintendo 64 and GameBoy Color combo, the announcement instead gave gamers something even better – a Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis combo! So expect N64 titles like F-Zero X, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask as well as Genesis titles like Castlevania: Bloodlines, Contra: Hard Corps, Shinobi, and more.

Unfortunately, there is a catch as all the above is a part of a new subscription plan. In short, Switch Online will cost you a bit more if you want to play games from the two soon-to-be-added retro platforms. It won’t be too expensive and as far as many gamers are concerned, it’s absolutely worth it. Check out the full list of upcoming games and more things Switch Online in our original news coverage.
