Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be quite demanding to play on the PC

Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be quite demanding to play on the PC

The beauty comes with a cost

Ubisoft always goes the extra mile when it comes to hardware demands for their games on the PC. Where other developers usually post the “minimum” and the “recommended hardware requirements, Ubisoft usually shares a wider range of specs, depending on what graphical setting you want to play on. While the requirements for mid-to-high settings are fairly reasonable, things quickly start to ramp up if you want to go for anything above 1080p and 60FPS. 4K at 60FPS isn’t even a part of the requirement sheet and is presumed as not attainable unless you have some sort of SLI beast mode PC.

The game requires only 50GB of space and all but the minimum hardware requirements list an SSD as an absolute must. It will surely be interesting to see how the game performs on various configurations and if it will be a driving force for mass PC upgrades now that the next generation of graphics cards is right around the corner. For the full list of hardware you’ll need to run Assasins Creed: Valhalla, check out our original news coverage.
