Epic Games suing Google and Apple over Fortnite removal
Epic Games just lost a huge market share for its flagship game – Fortnite. The game has been removed from both the Apple and Google Play Store following Epic enabling the players to purchase the in-game currency directly from Epic instead of going through the stores themselves where both Apple and Google take their cut of the cake. In response, Epic is suing both, saying that they are acting like a monopoly that stifles competition. Besides the legal actions, Epic is rallying their fanbase to put pressure on Apple and Google, portraying them as the villains in a satirical video titled Nineteen-Eighty-Fortnite. It’s definitely going to be a highly publicized case with all parties taking jabs at each other so make sure you follow it up right here on Keengamer. Sucker Punch surprises everyone with Ghost of Tsushima multiplayer
If you thought the recent Ghost of Tsushima was a purely single-player experience – think again. In what is probably the most surprising update for any game in recent memory, Ghost of Tsushima is getting a full-fledged online co-op multiplayer mode. The multiplayer will feature legendary warriors who’ve been spoken of in stories by the people of Tsushima, featuring locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology. Each character will represent a certain class: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin or Assassin and each will come with their own unique set of skills and abilities. According to Sucker Punch, multiplayer is going to be substantially more difficult than the singleplayer and will even have a raid as the ultimate endgame experience. The best part? It will be completely free. For the full trailer, release date and more information, check out our original news coverage.

Not only did Take-Two just recently update their “gtavicecityonline” and “gtavi” domains but they’ve been in talks with many Synthwave musicians that could point to the ’80s as a time period for the game. A sticker on the recently leaked Xbox Series X/S controller possibly hints at the release date for Microsoft’s next console to be on November 6 this year. Since the controllers have already been proven as legit, this reveal also seems very plausible. Still, it’s possible that Microsoft will postpone the release seeing as Halo Infinite was postponed, leaving the console with no exclusive titles at release.
