Forza Motorsport 7 will be delisted from the Microsoft store and all other places sold starting September 15th, 2021. Delisting is quite common for simulation racing games, as the deals with car companies cost money to keep good year to year. And as new Forza games come out and the older ones become less relevant over time, delisting makes sense. To add to the pain, Game Pass is also losing Forza Motorsport 7. If one owns the game, you can still play it, but other than that, your only option is to buy the game before it’s gone.
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions we’d like to answer for everyone about Forza Motorsport 7 End of Life:

Forza Motorsport 7 is one of two Forza series that two different studios handle. Playground Games, who’re working on the new Fable game, have traditionally developed the Forza Horizon series. The Horizon games focus on large, open-world maps based in differing locations in each game. For example, Forza Horizon 5 is taking to Mexico. Turn 10 Studios is the team that handles the Forza Motorsport series, which has a more “professional racer” feel, as the player races on different race tracks around the world as you progress your driving career.

Very unexpected. Although they usually delist these games after 4-5 years, this title was their only income source. Now they can’t earn anything because all Motorsport titles are delisted. But I’m sure Microsoft is willing to provide Turn 10 as much money as they need and even more.
