Despite its initial mixed reception, Forza Horizon 4 is now one of the most played racing franchises on Steam, achieving this within the opening 24 hours it was on the PC platform. The impressive debut was confirmed by the Forza Horizon Twitter account.

The Playground Games’ title released on Steam this week, after months of speculation and fan hope.
By March 11th, Forza Horizon 4 had more than 200,000 concurrent players according to Steam, higher than recent AAA juggernauts such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Forza Horizon 4 originally released in 2018 on Xbox One and Windows 10. It won best British game at the 2019 BAFTA Game Awards, beating Red Dead Redemption 2. Also winning accolades at The Game Awards and accumulated over 12 million players in its opening year.
Microsoft continues to port some of its favourite first-party titles over to Steam, with Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps all arriving in recent months.
You can purchase Forza Horizon 4 standard edition on Steam for $60/£55 or the ultimate edition for $90/£85.
