Square Enix have given fans of Final Fantasy 15 their first look at their upcoming DLC, Episode Gladiolus. This DLC will be the first to allow players to play as another character that’s not Noctis.
The DLC will let players to find out what Gladio got up to after he surprisingly left your party in Chapter 6 after his defeat to Ravus. It turns out he went to try and become more powerful by undertaking the trail of Gilgamesh, a recurring Final Fantasy villain who has appeared in many of the Final Fantasy games over the years, usually sporting multiple arms, however in this iteration it appears he only has 1. During his trials he will reunite and train with Cor, a former commander of the Crownsguard.
While this is the first DLC to allow players to take control of a character who isn’t Noctis, the upcoming DLC chapters Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto will allow you to play as each character respectively.
Episode Gladiolus will be available for download on the 28th of March.
