Today, Final Fantasy VII was released on both the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This release marks the first time the iconic game was released on a Nintendo and Xbox System, with Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy XII following soon. However, it seems that the Nintendo Switch version of Final Fantasy VII is suffering from a minor audio issue.
While nothing game breaking, the game's overworld music will re-start after you partake in a random encounter. Interestingly, the same issue persists in the Steam version of Final Fantasy VII, released back in 2012. Another bug found has the screen flashing to black when transitioning away from FMV sequences. It's currently unknown if this bug pertains to the Xbox version.
Hopefully, Square Enix will add a patch to remedy this issue.
