If one had a golden era of gaming around the mid-2000’s, this latest piece of news may evoke some nostalgia. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is receiving a remastered touch for the current generation.
Revealed during Square Enix’s E3 presentation, which was light on fluff, the game was only given a short trailer and a release season. Through the content of the trailer, it doesn’t seem as though much has changed with the game. The only noteworthy factor is the smoother graphics, refreshed and reinvigorated for the current crop of Final Fantasy players.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be available sometime in Winter for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. This will mark the first time a Crystal Chronicles title has been available for a console outside of Nintendo’s library.
The original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was released in 2003 exclusively for the Nintendo Gamecube. It received positive reviews from critics and managed to sell well enough to warrant a collection of sequels spanning to the end of the 2000’s. Five other Crystal Chronicles titles were released between 2007 and 2009.
