You’ll be able to play as Prompto in the “Final Fantasy XV VR experience,” which Sony announced tonight at their E3 conference. The new RPG, which comes out September 30, will support PlayStation VR for a certain mode.
At the Sony E3 presentation they showed a whole load of VR game footage for different games including content for Final Fantasy.
The video showed players fighting a large beast, similar to Monster Hunter, with one of the characters even wearing a PSVR headset. The footage they showed certainly looked as fast-paced and hectic as the main game and it will be interesting to see how the VR portion of the game will play.
Final Fantasy XV: VR Experience should release alongside the PlayStation VR headset this October.
