FIFA 22 is the UK's 2021 Christmas Number 1

FIFA 22 is the UK’s Christmas number one, beating competition such as Call of Duty: Vanguard to the top spot. EA now has more Christmas Number one’s than any other publisher. Data collected by Gfk lists the best-selling boxed games. Digital sales are not included, which could tell a different story entirely.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla from Ubisoft was last year’s Christmas number one. As for the rest of the top ten, Activision’s Call of Duty: Vanguard sits in the second spot, whilst Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains in third. Among us and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition enter the top ten, in fifth and sixth respectively.

Following the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales rises up the charts to fourth from ninth last week. Meanwhile, Nintendo round out the top ten with Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond (9th), and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (10th).
