Far Cry 6 Announces Stranger Things Crossover

A brand new mission is coming to the world of Far Cry 6, except this time, it involves Stranger Things. That’s right, Ubisoft is teaming up with Netflix to bring ‘The Vanishing’, a new mission within the game, available for all players. No extra cost, no DLC, just a new mission.

Prepare to head back to Yara, except this time, things seem a little, well, Upside Down. Venture to this curious dimension as Dani, who realises that Yarans are disappearing. Introducing the first stealth-horror-survival gameplay experience to Far Cry 6 as this Stranger Things mission will bring brand new mysterious characters, lore and locations inspired by the TV show. Dani’s mission is to find out what’s happening to the people of Yara and to find Chorizo.

The trailer even showed The Demogorgon appearing at the very end. The Mind Flayer is also featured in the promotional material. It’ll be very interesting to see how these two worlds collide, especially with how different they are. It’s exciting to see this popular show making its way into so many video games.
