After weeks of fans thirsting over sexy vampires in Resident Evil Village, which exploded further since last week’s showcase, art director Tomonori Takano has put out a statement thanking fans, with a fun fact about Lady Dimitrescu.

“I wanted to use this opportunity to publicly reflect on the outpouring positivity we’ve received from the fans on our latest announcement. As a representative of the development team, thank you to to all of the fans who continue to follow us.

Most recently, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a fair amount of attention, far more than we anticipated. It’s great that they’re able to take the spotlight as icons in Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu, especially, has received much fanfare both domestically and overseas, which has made all of us in the development team extremely happy.”

The Internet erupted in horniness over Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters. Across memes and discussions on social media, fans are thirsty over the Resident Evil Village vampires. Even on our official podcast, we spoke about how sexy we felt they are, which will make for an interesting horror experience for players, unlike other entries in the long-running franchise.

After the showcase, a Kotaku article came out measuring the surroundings to figure out how tall the mother bloodsucker is, and while that came to be 8′, Takano gave us even more details, and she is taller than expected. With her hat and heels included, she is 9’6 or 2.9m.

On January 25, Deadline reported that actress Jeanette Maus, an actress who played one of the daughters in the upcoming game, had died from colon cancer. A GoFundMe was set up for her expenses, but since she died, fans have been donating to take care of her funeral costs. As of writing, 726 donors have raised over $61,000.
