Elder Scrolls Online update brings Halloween to Tamriel
The Elder Scrolls Online is celebrating what is known as the Witches Festival, an in-game holiday event where demonologists, conjurors, lamias, warlocks, and thaumaturgists meet in secret to invoke, conjure, and summon all manner of ghoulish creatures; which, if left unchecked, may plague Tamriel for eons!

Players will be able to take part in this event by going into the in-game Crown Store and picking up a free Crow Caller. Using this item will start the quest "The Witchmother's bargain." completing this quest will award the player with the Witchmother's Whistle, which can be used to summon the Witchmother's Cauldron.

Using this cauldron will polymorph the player (and everyone in their group) into terrifying undead creatures. This effect lasts for two hours, but can be used as many times as the player wants until November 1.

Once the Witches Festival is over, players can keep the Witchmother's Whistle, but it will not be able to summon the Witchmother's Cauldron.

The event is currently live for those that are interested, and will be available until November 1.
