The Game director behind Kadokawa Games' El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is releasing its next game in the franchise in Japan soon. The new installment goes by the name The Lost Child and like its predecessor features a turn-based RPG story. The game is to release for both the PS4 and PS Vita this summer in Japan. It features this time around as a backdrop, a conflict of demons in a modern-day Japan setting. Check out the reveal trailer just below.
In The Lost Child you play the story of a magazine journalist by the name Hayato Ibuki who is investigating the suicide of a person that jumped in front of a subway train. The game has you play detective and collect data in the various places you go through that are linked to the investigation. Similar to the Persona franchise, you can capture demon creatures or angels to join you as allies in some form. The game is reported to be around 90% complete at this stage in time.
