EA opened their E3 presentation with a trailer showing of Madden 18's Long Shot mode. Similar to "The Journey" from FIFA 17 and FIFA 18, Long Shot will be a story mode.
On their official website EA says of the new mode:
"After three years away from the game, play as former five-star high school quarterback, Devin Wade as he takes one last shot to hear his name called on NFL Draft day."
The cast includes Oscar-winning House of Cards and Moonlight actor Mahershala Ali.
Madden 2018 launches in August for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It features Tom Brady of the New England Patriots on the cover. Check out the trailer below.
